So I created the above image where I took illustrations from various sources and photoshopped them together to show what could possibly be done in the future for fans of both EDTG and H. Lovecraft’s works are all about fear, and fear is one of the primary mechanics in EDTG. I would just love to see them implement Cthuhlu in some form or fashion, because it would fit perfectly into Evil Dead The Game. Not saying they should listen to me, or use my idea, that’s now what this is all about. In my mind, it makes perfect sense for Saber Interactive to create a Lovecraft / Cthulhu based expansion for Evil Dead The Game. Lovecraft’s fictional necronomicon, the “book of the dead”. The original Evil Dead movies were inspired and based off of H. Lovecraft‘s works, even portraying Cthulhu and a Deep One on my YouTube channel (I’ve even created my own fictional universe on YouTube that spans hundreds of videos, many of which have Lovecraftian elements, but that’s another story). There are some issues and bugs with the game that will hopefully be addressed in the months and year(s) to come, but in my opinion, EDTG is the single best asymmetrical horror game ever made, right on par with Left4Dead as far as the fun factor and feeling like you have power. So after debating it for a couple days, I bit the bullet and purchased Evil Dead The Game and immediately jumped into playing the demon. I also got back into wildlife photography, so my mind has been focused on that a lot more even though that is only a weekend hobby. But I was still stuck in my “I’m sick of video games right now” phase. I loved Evil Dead 1, 2 and the Army of Darkness. But after playing killer for about a month or two, I began to not enjoy the game so much, for various reasons I won’t get into here, mostly revolving around game balance.įast forward to May 2022, and I heard about Evil Dead The Game, another asymmetrical horror game, and was intrigued. It was similar to Left4Dead(2) only in the fact that you could play the evil enemy, but it is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where you are the only player on one side and have to fight the other 4 players playing as survivors. Then like 20 years later Dead By Daylight comes out, and that became my latest obsession about 3 years ago (I found out about it a bit late). And there was a jumping, pouncing enemy too. Absolutely loved playing as both sides as the survivors and the… whatever they called the enemies in L4D and L4D2. When Left 4 Dead(2) came out it was such a fun and unique multiplayer experience where, I’m pretty sure, for the first time ever, you could play as the enemies, instead of most multiplayer games where both sides are fairly similar and human. I’ve been playing multiplayer games since Duke Nukem 3D when you could setup a TCP/IP network on Windows 95 (or was it 3.1?) and play with someone over the analog phone line. I’ve been gaming since the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and the days of 300 baud modems and a 286 CPU. Got half way through Horizon Forbidden West by Guerilla Games and got bored of that, as much I as absolutely loved Zero Dawn. You see, not long ago (April 2022) I finished Elden Ring by FromSoftware and was just not impressed. My take on a Lovecraft-based expansion / DLC for Evil Dead The Game by Saber Interactive. So on a whim, I came up with an idea for a future DLC or expansion that I personally would love to see, and perhaps you might as well if you’re a fan of both the game and H. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample song download, download Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt.Evil Dead The Game is one of the best (asymmetrical) multiplayer horror games I’ve ever played, right on par if not better than Left4Dead2 when it comes to mechanics, the fun factor, and the feeling of playing a powerful evil character. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample songīy Ephemeral Rift, Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample song, Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample song, The ASMR Sessions, Vol. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample MP3, download Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt. 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample MP3 song, Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt. ![]() ![]() 2: Gravel Exploring to Container Sample, Unearthing a Cthulhu Relic, Pt.
